Our designer Caron Lopez was great to work with, very professional and responsive. She answered every question we had and made herself readily available. She was able to show many samples and budget ideas for our kitchen. We are absolutely in love with it. We plan to utilize her services for future remodels.

Caron and Cande did a spectacular job on our new home. They installed all the new windows, provided decorating services and provided and installed all of our plantation shutters. I would like to share what a joy it has been to work with interior designer, Caron Lopez. She has an eye for how to take your words, descriptions, colors and put together a master plan for designing and developing your style in such a way that it mystifies one.
 
Caron’s first project was to overcome the blank window space and design draperies and window fixtures that showed style, aesthetics and privacy. She proposed options that were based on my preferences based on how I wanted the room to feel and be used. I was delighted with the agreed upon design and the fabrics selections. The results were stunning, and many visitors have asked for her contact information.
 
The wall colors started to feel stale during Covid and I asked Caron to consult with some options to brighten up the den, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. After a walk- through she made several recommendations that were just the right match of style, color, and value. Faux accents, new wall art, and area rugs were the recommendations that we chose. It has been an excellent solution and I have been extremely pleased with the results.
 
I can attest that if I have a need, she is able to use her talents to bring forth a solution that is priceless.

With the professional direction of Caron Lopez and her company, Grand Interiors and Window Fashion, my husband and I undertook an extensive remodel of our home. The project entailed changing the color palette of the interior, reconstructing our utility closet into a butler’s pantry, and redesigning our primary bathroom and making changes in the kitchen for better traffic flow and taller cabinets with glass and lighting up more of my dishware. Caron did a masterful job in selecting fixtures, lighting, fabric for upholstery, bedding, furniture, designing a banquette, and commissioning artwork. She used my love of blue and white chinoiserie throughout our home, making the rooms flow seamlessly, by using many of my items in new arrangements. Since the remodel, we have hosted gatherings, church committee meetings, and a wedding and reception. Our home truly represents our personality. It is a place of warmth and beauty thanks to Caron and the Grand Interiors and Window Fashions staff.

Over the years Caron Lopez and her team at Grand Windows have done many projects to make my home both functional and beautiful. I have used Caron as my designer and decorator for nearly 15 years and will continue to seek her out for all my decorating and interior design needs.
 
What has made our designer-client relationship so enduring and satisfying? I would sum it up: trust, skill, creativity, and delivery.
 
From our first interactions back in 2007 Caron began to build trust between us. She excels at confidence building. Caron invested time upfront in getting to know my personality and personal preferences by conducting personal interviews. Because of this investment she was able to interpret my style readily. This built trust and confidence when I saw how much she cared and enjoyed pleasing me with her creativity. Caron asks great questions to narrow down options and she is a good listener, carefully gleaning all the features and functionality that are important to me. Caron gets to know her customers early on, thus she does not overwhelm them with myriads of possibilities. Her thorough interviewing skills enable her to satisfy customer expectations for quality, budget, and schedule.
 
Caron knows her industry well. She understands fabrics, texture, color, and how light interacts with various finishes. She is aware of trends but knows how to see ahead of them and choose timeless designs and colors. She has put together a great team at her business that includes employees who are color experts, seamstresses, 2-story drape hangers, and marbleizing and distressing artists who can faux paint a plain wall or column to look like ‘the real McCoy’. Additionally, she networks well to bring the talent together from other businesses to accomplish whatever the project demands.
 
Caron has always met budget requirements and delivery schedules for all the work that she has done for me. This was especially important when she did all the decorating for my daughter’s Christmas wedding. I was thoroughly impressed when she traveled all the way to Dallas to attend a large Christmas market so she would have a large selection from which to choose from and shop bulk at a great price. Furthermore, quality and schedule never suffered with her shopping strategy. To this day, though it has been over a decade, I still think back on the outstanding job she did making my daughter’s dream wedding a reality with enduring, beautiful memories. As I type this memo and look at my home’s interior, I realize how much her hands have shaped my living spaces, transforming them from plain and uninteresting to grand and inviting!

Just a note to let you know how pleased we are with the work Caron has done for us. She has done two bedrooms for us, and I wish she had done the whole house! Her renderings were all exact, fabrics and colors were what we wanted, and the rooms are beautiful! She is very professional along with her husband, Candelario who does the installation. I will use her services again and not fool with anyone else for my future needs!

The realtor that sold our previous residence recommended Grand Interiors and Window Fashion to me. I was looking for a designer, but Caron is also a wonderful space planner. This barn was built by my husband as a retreat for him and our sons and the upstairs was never completed. Caron did so much for me in space planning. The kitchen and bathroom layouts needed to be thought out. After the elevator and walk-in pantry were placed, she strategically placed the island and cabinet walls in the kitchen area and for added space made good use of one of the dormers by locating my new beautiful blue stove there. Beautifully designed custom cabinets were installed in front of a faux rock wall. My husband wanted the island wood to be Hickory and stained so she obliged. She created a huge walk-in pantry with double access with salvaged antique doors and a spice cabinet next to the stove. She had the new rough cedar in the den stained by a local artist to resemble barnwood. A 10-foot table was built by one of her associates for the dining area and once I met him, he happened to be a school friend of mine-making the table even more special.
 
A roughed-in original bathroom had a toilet that was originally located in the upstairs area along with a pedestal sink. She removed that wall, opening it to a make new large bath and added the footed tub, she designed beautiful custom cabinets, and a huge walk-in shower with a commissioned stained-glass window. The home had 6 dormers that she wanted to be utilized. Three were converted to window seats with storage. The bathroom dormer space was included in the shower area and the stained-glass window added. The master bedroom extended to the front of the barn, and she made a huge walk-in closet and added to it, his/her chest of drawers, a cabinet for ties/belts, a mirrored cabinet for jewelry along with lots of shelving and even his/her lighting. New windows, window shades, and hardwood flooring were installed throughout.
 
Caron and her husband Cande were wonderful to work with. Caron offered her ideas and was open to mine. She was very responsive to our needs. I now have a unique home that we love.

We recently moved into a new house and needed window treatments for the entire home. We were a little overwhelmed with all the options. I called Grand Interiors and Window Fashion for a consultation. After using our dining room table for our recent Easter family gathering, I had to let you know how thrilled we are with the work you guys did with the re-upholstery of our chairs! Several people at the table commented on the comfort of the chairs and of course the fabric choice was perfect for the room. You all made the effort so easy by picking up and dropping off the chairs around our crazy schedule. We have done business with Grand Interiors and Window Fashion for several years now. We purchased Hunter Douglas blinds for our home. They were installed with great care and in a professional manner. Later when there was a problem, they dealt with Hunter Douglas and solved it. They are always very courteous and prompt about helping. Later we had them install our remote screens on our back patio. We can recommend Grand Interiors without reservation. They treat you like family.

Mr. Lopez made sure I was happy before he left. He goes the extra miles to satisfy.
